veneration

is it about religion or belief? cuz why is it so obvious to people outside of this belief-system that the ONE god is the same for all the rest and that religions all over the world at all times derived and borrowed from each other and traded symbols and traditions and the like. but people who are inside of these systems, people who are taught to believe suddenly are blind to the wholeness of it and only see their own four cornered room. sometimes in all aspects of life. and it doesn't stop there. it seems they completely stop thinking for themselves, because critical remarks are never heard.
