I can't wait

Dear Reader,

today was the first day of winter. When stepping outside my doorstep I realised that everything smelled and looked like winter. My skin felt the winter chill my face and fingers.
At the moment, I can't wait for snow to fall and cold ice storms to rage outside while I'm at home. I guess, I even like being outside in cold storms. But people already look like they're ready to slit their wrists. But maybe they lived in a city too long and don't know how a real winter outside of Vienna looks like. I can't wait.
