problems are cowards...
I just heard that my gran has a 8 cm/3.1 inch gallstone floating about in her body that once operated will be given to university for its remarkable size, so students can see a really big stone.
also the operation will be with audience of a whole class because of its special circumstances...
does any of the doctors care about how the patient feels?

Finn- doesn't your gran have to sign a form giving them permission to do this?
It sounds a bit odd to me!
her gran is odd.
no, seriously, I think she agreed anyway. she doesn't mind students learning something from it.
correct. she doesn't mind. but after the whole thing she'll be claiming that no one ever asked her. she won't mind the whole bunch of students but she will say something like, "they could've asked, you know?" and when hinted that she might have signed something, she will answer "yes, but noone TOLD me."
my gran is odd.
and according to mom the gall stone was 5 cm 3 conversations ago and grew bigger each time gran tells the story of her upcoming operation.
In a very weird way I love your gran, honey. she always provides fodder for fun :)
