The sun was out today and I refused to wear my winter jacket to pick up a book from the library. I didn't even feel the slightest chill at all. I then went shopping and everything was fine. I picked up some carnival decorations and when I came home I redecorated the apartment. I'm not exactly a big fan of carnival but I like that it's colorful and since I'm doomed because of my papers I thought I might as well have a cheerful apartment.
As soon as I had finished and started to get ready for studying the weather changed. The sun was gone and the sky was one thick blanket of yellowish gray and a couple of seconds after I turned on my laptop it started hailing.
Do you believe in coincidences? Does the weather reflect my mood? Did I cause the weather to change?...very freaky.
But at least the apartment is all colorful now...

What/when is Carnival? We don't really have that here in the states. Or at least not in the state I life in - which is a constant state of confusion.
Nevermind...I know what Carnival is. D'OH!
I realised that the better translation would've been Mardi Gras. But I always forget because Carnival has a similar word in German. and the Germans actually use the word Karneval. so, that's where my translation came from...in Austria we call it Fasching though. but then again, Austria has some words that are diffrent from the German version. It's sort of a cookie v biscuit problem...
